Main engine harness

Anyone have (or know where I can get) pictures of a main engine harness stretched out and labeling what each plug goes to? For all 3 gens if possible, but anyones you got will be cool. Not that I need it, but it would be cool to have.

Thanks,

I would LOVE to have that.

But as I have found out these are usually the questions that tend to go unanswered.

yeah I ask wiring questions all the time. Most people tell ya to look at a wiring diagram. Thats great in all, but some times it lacks things that I need and dont know where to get. Such as the pins, in the connectors lead to(or came from)

If you find somthing, please share, I've been wishing for one of those every day for at least a month now.

the wiring diagrams do have the connectors on them. its true you cant make a harness that fits from them (that would be nice)

It's not that bad just looking at the wiring diagram... There are only 3 harnesses too, so a connector to connector diagram still doesn't tell you exactly where the wire is, because it has to find its way throught the web of wires and connectors. The diagrams also show the subsystem based diagrams, which are much more useful than an entire "covers everything' diagram when it comes to electrical debuging.

True I think there are some improvements that could be made, such as showing the pin-outs of each connector on the pages where they appear, and highlighting the pins used in that subsystem, that would mean less page turning, but it is there....

I'll tell you what though.... I'll do a diagram sometime over the winter (Doing a TII swap, and want to get the definitive picture on what stays, and what goes) What I'll do is make a three diagrams showing the three harnesses, all the connectors and the wires that go into and out of them vs pin number so it's a little easier for me to tell which path the wires take to get from A to B

I have haynes manuals for all RX-7s from 79-91 and they have wiring diagrams and show what each pin connector is for in some of the plugs, but here is what I am looking for. I want a picture of an engine harness laid out and each different branch labeled from beginning to end. I want to be able to pick up a wire harness and have a reference to what each plug is for. I don't think you could use a Haynes book to figure out what all plugs are for unless the harness is in the car.
