Just for the record, all of us in the 2nd gens got 114.3 lugs, the only thing is whether that is 114.3x4 or 5

Most of us FBers know that already Wonko.

But for ricey style rims, yes there are only 4 or 5 that have the right bolt pattern. If you go with a racing rim or something like BBS mesh style rims, there are more to chose from.

panasports are slick, though. if only it was easier to find watanabe's in our bolt pattern.

An example of good racing style rims are Diamond Racing Wheels. Panasports are also a widely accepted rim, but they are VERY expensive. I personally like the Diamond Racing rims the best because you can get them in almost any size, any offset, any backspacing, and they are CHEAP. They also look pretty good IMO.

4x4 or 4x4.5, corresponding metrically to 4x100 or 4x114.3.

So is 4x110 = 4.25?

Just wondering......

4.25 is 108mm. I have a 924 with 108mm and they are just a hair too small on the bolt pattern.

The bolts will still line up with the 4x108 wheels on the rx-7, but its extremely unsafe. This is due to major stress that is put on the bolt because of the difference in bolt pattern.

Yea, I did get the lug bolts started and ran them down but I could see that they were not centered in the seat.
