Lowest milage -first generation?
Since another tread asked about highest milage first generations. I thought it was only fair to start a LOWEST milage tread. It also helps that I believe my car may be the lowest milage one around. Interested to see if anyone has one with lower milage.
My 1983 has 11,000 original miles. I know this is documented because my wife was the original owner. Still like the day she brought it home.
Any other really low milage cars?

Old [Sch|F]ool
My '80 had 29k on it in 1985. (According to lube sticker)
It had 89k on it in late 1999.
Then I bought it.
It had 100k on it on 4/4/2000. I took a picture.
It had 142k on it last December.
Rotaries love being driven hard and often, so we all should excercise them regularly!

ON saterdays I wash cars for customers at my dealership. One of them said they saw me driving my FB and said he would bring his in to be washed.
It was a 83 GSL black with red leather interior and 33000 miles. Man o Man do black FB look good. The only thing I didnt like was the sort of vinyl on the side.
I had some time so I hand washed it, no way I was bringing that thing through the car wash (although I bring mine through it at least once a week)

There is some guy in our club that has a medium blue GSL-SE with 19,000miles on it. I saw it in person once, I couldn't believe its condition...ORGINAL condition! Everything was orginal except the tires were changed, but he had the orginals saved, but they were all cracked.
WHen I first saw it, I thought it was freshly repainted by a profesional untill someone corrected me. He mentioned it still has the "new car smell" inside.

130000k or 80000m
My 85 GS has 130,000 km and is almost all original. It was owned by a Mazda dealer it Ottawa who kept it in mint shape. I've seeen a couple around 90,000 km, but they sell fast. There are alot of 1 st gen's in ottawa, you just need to watch out for rust.

The first owner of mine put 3,000 miles on it in the first 10 years she had it. Second owner put a bunch on it, and I bought it a year ago with 75,000. Not too bad.

met a guy here just over a year ago,, brought an '85 to one of our meets with i think 13,000 KM (KM NOT miles!)everything was original except the oil filter.
i don't care how clean your car is NOTHING compared to this thing!! he is a member here, just can't remember his name. my RX-7 has been stored for the last year so i've been 'out of touch'

I bought mine with 78k miles on it in May 2002. It has just over 91k miles now. Not the lowest, but I like the feel. It has tires on it from '95 that still look new, so I think it sat for a while before I bought it. Unfortunately that made the tires get hard, so it drifts easily now. I know the dealer I bought it from said they had it for four years before I bought it, and had purchased it at auction so it may have been sitting since '95.

...94% correct.
I saw an FB once with 6000 miles on the odometer...all original...weekend car...looked like it had been stored on another planet...one that doesn't have "time".
