I actually looked in the attic over my garage for the louvers just in case I kept them. Nope. Sorry again. I hate it when I throw stuff away that people want. The guy I bought the car from told me he had them on Ebay, and got no bids. I figured no one would ever want them.

You know what, I'm starting to think that I don't even want louvers anymore. I didn't think they would be so expensive. If lotsacars happens to come across any at the junkyards, then I'm game since he lives so close. Maybe I'll sleep on this one. Doesn't anyone have any good pics of what the whole set looks like on an FB?

It's kind of a long shot away, but the carcass '80 on the left had a very nice set...I personally like them...

You could just tint your side windows, as seen here:

The tint can be as dark as you want back there and still be legal. It can hide your stripped interior better than those side louvers.

The louvers made for the side windows aren't really louvers; they're like those plastic tail light covers that every other Chevy pickup had on it 10 years ago. I don't think they come in aluminum either - just plastic.

Are the aluminum or plastic ones better? Which ones make more noise while driving?

The only time I ever heard the louvers was outside of the car when the bass was thumping....absolutely horrible racket and something I need to think about when I do the system for the silver '83 not seen in the picture...dynamat each louver blade?
