lovely louvers.

I went to the junkyard got some louvers for $30 gave em a new coat of paint and put them on today. I went with black. Does everyone think that was a good choice??? I was thinkin about trying to match the interior color...let me know what you think.

Black. Can't see your interior color, but black, usually matte or flat, seems to work the best.

I personally am not a fan of louvers. I think that they look out of place on the seven. Looks like you cleaned them up real nicely though. Good find.

I put them on my '85 and my '82 had them when I bought the car. They make a HUGE difference with cabin temps when the sun is directly on the car, and that is the main reason I have them, keeps the black looking black.

I LOVE my louvers. I like the way they make the car look, and as stated by rotaryxperamental, they make a huge difference in interior temp, as well as keeping the carpets and plastice from fading. I painted mine a couple of years ago...satin black.

I'm going with a heavy tint instead of louvers.

I'm old school so I like the louvers, well I like the plastic one's made by autoplas back in the day. I think the ones in the pic are autoplas louvers. The aluminums, I don't like. Like everything its a matter of preference. Oh, by the way I'm looking for a set of autoplas louvers. PM me.
