Look I'm about to loose it here w/this collecting pipe! advice?

My RB exhaust will be here tomorrow so I scheduled a collector pipe to be here today well it got here (used from Apex Auto parts) and it's got a pin-hole exactly where mine has one which is why I ordered a different one to start with. I said screw it! I'll buy a new one(desperation/impatient)so I called mazda, haha, no longer available! I guess I'm gonna call a muffler shop and see if they can build me something w/thick guage steel like the stock one's... ****, I won't have my exhaust done for awhile now I guess and suppose to go to the paint shop in a week.
Now after venting does anyone sell this pipe, I just wish RB would sell that piece w/the damn exhaust system!(I know they sell the whole dealeo w/the street port or dual exhaust but not w/the single pipe system).
I've put a WTB in the sales a ways back for that and the exhaust brace but nothing.
I'm pissed right now, I'm sorry. You can still get parts for a 1968 1/2' Firebird convertable but nothing for 85 RX7...does that **** anyone off other than me? Shoot man I just need a dang connecting pipe that's all, I'm not asking for a fuel-cell off the space shuttle, just a damn pipe.
I do feel better now though.

www.mazdatrix.com
part # 40-200c-n249
Which means it may still be available thru the dealership but the # would be something like. N249-40-200c?

I think what you are looking for is a "mid-pipe" or something along those lines. I ordered mine through a local import parts store for like 50 bucks.

He is searching for the pipe between the catalytic converter and the muffler.

Mazdatrix carries the pipe for manual tranny. Mine's auto and shaped slightly different.
I went to town just awhile ago(40 miles round trip) to a muffler shop(after calling the guy)...he found some very thick pipe and was going to make it for me for 25 bones until he started cutting and noticed how the pipe receeds up into the flang and will be more effort than he first thought...so he wants me to bring my car in and let him fabricate it while it's on the lift(uh, I think I'll try to go a different route on that, my car has no tag or taillights in preperation for painting).
Now I have the guy that sent me the rusted out one(as if I needed another one of them ) which I just realized it's for a manual tranny anyway...well he's rapidly shipping me another one....I bet it will be for manual also.
Robert just e-mailed me and if Apex next pipe is manual or also rusted I'll probably take him up on the dealeo, what sucks is that I need it tomorrow ...but like I always say "life sucks then you die" hehe

A welder won't weld very thin, flakes of rust...the pipe is in BAD shape...history...I can push a screwdriver through the steel at just about any place w/in 3-4" of flange(main cat side).

Thanks guys....Robert I'll contact you as soon...................screw it! how fast can you ship it out(oh that's right you're in Cali)...How do you want payment? Paypal? C.Card? and I'll give you $125(or what ever extra it may cost?( I mean I just paid $30 for next day shipping on two $9 parts, doh!...don't tell my wife!) if you can get it here by thurs-Fri latest...? My wheels/tires will be on tomorrow and it hits the ground for sure(by Sun) as soon as the oil pan is on because I have a body guy coming out to straighten/finish up a few things on the body work and I'll be tearing the carb off again for those *****/weights, then Bill at the paint shop is expecting the car next week...dang I sound like my wife, wha, wha, wha, boohoo

Kind of sounded like you had a small hole.

Yeah you're right it was a small hole, just big enough for a med size screw driver to poke through but if you wiggle it around it just got bigger and bigger
I turned it over and pushed the screw driver against the pipe just under the flange and it started giving in so I was pissed, then when I couldn't find one and then a muffler shop was unable to bada-bing me one together...but it's all good I just got an e-mail from Robert w/pics of the one he removed, sandblasted, painted and shipped today, what an awesome dude!
So I'm better now, think I'll be able to get it to the paint shop before I have to go back to work now. Got my tires today and RB exhaust and when I get that pipe and install oil pan and put ball/weight back in carb I'll be hooked up.
So this is how I felt
This is probably what ya'll thought of my post, lol
And this is how I feel now
Thanks guys, Again.
