Finally got my 1st gen....

After looking at many RX-7's for the last 3 months; I finally bought one! It's been awhile since I was in a rotary powered car and it sure brought back alot of good memories. Needs alittle bit of work but the base is pretty solid. Here's a pic for now.

LOL Wacky. I was at 3 wrecking yards this past Sunday. 1st gens are hard to find. Found a bunch of second gens though. I appreciate the offer and you know I'll be getting parts from you!

You are right twinkletoes. '85 GSL-SE and the price was very reasonable. Those rims are old school ewings works mesh 15 x 9 and 15 x 8.

Holy wider-than-hell wheels in the back!

Nice lips on those wheels too.

You are lucky!

Well not that lucky with the wheels actually. They stick out in the back about 1 1/4" from the fender well. My body shop friend is trying to figure out what would be the best way for me to flare out the rear fender some. The fronts are pretty close to tucking so I don't need to mod the front fender as much. I honestly don't think I'm going to flare the fenders out. I want to keep that body line so I'm looking for the right offset rims really. These Ewings came off a Supra and tucked nice.
Selling the rims it actually came with....... We'll see what happens.

Thanks guys. Those Ewings have been sitting in my garage for the last 7 years? Collected alot of dust and are dirty. That is why I took that picture from a distance. Trying to hide the dust. LOL. Will post some pics later on in the week. Going to clean the 7 up some and then take more pics.
