Lets talk about "Bras"
I dont know about you all but I am a big fan of the Bra on the Rx-7.
After trying many different bras on and not liking the way they fit I have finally landed on one that I think is the perfect bra.
It is made by Covercraft,
It has seperate headlight covers,
It has 16 straps
It has 3 different flex tabs
It has multiple velcro atach points.
The fit and finish is beter than anything that I have ever seen.
The headlight covers are cut to perfect size and are attached very well.
The vinyl has a very nice grain to it.
I will post pics later.......

On serious side, what happens if you drive in the rain and water gets under the bra/bro? Do you have to take it off to dry, to prevent meldew?
Those things can damage the paint, so what do you do to keep that from happening?

It's more of a personal taste kinda thing. I'm not crazy about how they look, and they can scuff the paint if they are even a little loose. They do help keep bugs/gravel ect from chipping the paint, though.

A bra? What are you saving it for? It's like having a new car and never driving it because you don't want to put a lot of miles on it. I guess its a whatever floats your boat kind of deal.

My GS had a bra on it when I bought it. I removed it to find much worn paint on the bumper (even though the bra was a nice snug fit)
I know someone who has laminex type paint protector on to protect his car from his bra chaffing.
My grandmother used to have clear vinyl covers on her couch...

Bras are great for hiding ugliness. Its the only reason I have one on my car. It hides a dent and the paint nasties on the front bumper and valance.
A good bra won't hurt the paint, but the cheapies will. Mines made by Wolf and its got a napped lining on the insode that protects the paint. I have no wear marks from the bra being on there.
Also, you shouldn't have it on in the rain and you should pull it off if it gets wet or you'll get mildew under it for sure.

I hate the look of bras. But it is the only thing that will save the paint on the front of your car up here. I have been a bra user for over 10 years and it save the paint if used correctly. I have never had any paint damage from them. I did try the 3M clear stuff and it just was not tough enough to stand up to the big stones.
