advance or auto zone. i cant remember which one is in my town. if you go to the section i call the ricer section u can get just about any thing led, shifters ***** , bolts
lighters ect. u can even get a box to hook up to ur radio that will flash the lights to it ect.

i only have some red leds in my car cause i needed lights when i open the doors at night .

your able to buy strips of leds form 3/4 inches to 17 inches i belive they come in packs of two.

i have 2 of the small 3 inch strips in the drives side so i can see where to put my key ect. then in the passengers side i have one of the 12 inch strips so my little lady can see where her feet are. and the extra 12 strip i put in the glove box wired to only be on when the car has power and the glove box is open.

i know some mite think its like a ricer thing but i like red. and after all i need to be able to see where to put my key.

as a side note my buddy bough me a gift, tail light bulbs. they are just a replacement bulb for your break lights but they have like 7 or 8 leds in them. he told me to use them cause they will not run as hot.

you can make them very cheaply to fit in your stock dome light locations. i got a hold of a multi colored led bulb and some resistors and should have used more bulbs its a little dim but i changes all kinds of colors and more than one bulb would have been harder to get synchronized. check some of the websites about wiring up these kinds of things it can take a few hours at first but its worth it

I saw some in a magazine that just plugged into the dome light, I liked those because they seemed to be a direct fit and the light they cast reminded me of the newer european automobiles. Wanted a Nicer and brighter light, that's all...

I was thinking about swapping all the lights on my 82' with LEDs. just the little interior lightbulb takes .710 of an amp. But my electrics teacher said that I shoudl be careful when doing the flashers, because my car might not have an electronic flasher and the lower amperage wouldn't activate teh bi-metallic switch. Anyone know anything about that?

They will work, they will just blink really fast.

Also, your "stop light" will be triggered in the dash.

Huh... Maybe then I should just look for a new electronic flasher?
