leak

So i went out to my car this morning after a hard rain and i saw that behind my seat was wet so i felt it and it was soaked, then under the driver side pocket there was a puddle. I drained the puddle.

The door seals dont leak i am wondering if someone has had the same issues or if anyone knows where my leak is coming from. Thanks

if not the sunroof drain tubes or seal, possibly a window seal. puddling on the driver's side floorboard can result from a faulty seam or rust on the inner cowl area causing water to drip onto the floor. since the seat is wet i would think that the sunroof drain tubes may be clogged.

Or the tubing may have rotted/become disconnected.

^^thats a good point Glen. if that were the case then the water would run all over the place under the hearliner and would find a nice and annoying spot to drip..like the seat and driver's side floor..

well that opens up a whole different can of worms..how's your hatch seal? recheck the window to door seals in addition to the door to body seals. check the roof for any slight amount of rust, pitting or pin holes. is your headliner dry?

i took the pocket out of my car today and there is a rust trail that leads from the top of the wheel well down to the bottom of the pocket. would it be maybe the side triangle window leaking. the door seals are ok .
