Lame Question Bout Ignition

Yeha ill probably get flamed for this.... but i know that if i dont know something there has to be at least 10 other members who also don't know it....

How does ignition help power? Ive done a few searches but all i found is how much power they free up or add but nothing explaining it....

Thanks.

I think a more powerful ignition is supposed to result in more complete burning of fuel.

Oh, yeah that makes sense. So if thats the case, is there really that much more power to be gained?

There are alot of variables in igniton. The spark ignites the fuel so of course its important, and again lots of power is to be gained from timing which is when the spark ingites the fuel. There are lots of reason ignition is important.

Not only in the fuel burned but also the consistency, at higher RPM some stock ignitions either don't spark every time they should, or the spark gets weak.

There is a lot of power to be found in ignition upgrades. The difference was incredible when I installed/tuned the Transistor Trick setup.

Also, its not just the amount of power increase, but when it is available. No high rpm breakup, just solid pulling all the way to the redline and beyond.
