the light body hammer wont budge it, would using a heavier hammer be alright, or should I use a heat gun to soften up the metal and just use the body hammer?
would it be alright to use a claw hammer? its in the rear wheel arch iv filled it and sanded for ages and just cant seem to get it flat so iv decided to sand off the bog, go back and finish the metal a bit better wich will make sanding heaps easier.
another question for you what would be best way to remove dent above the rear wheel arch body line? I cant really get behind it with a hammer. those stud welders look handy but the ones on ebay are too pricey.
yea im over in Australia bro, we need a harbour freight store here they got some good range of tools for realistic prices.
I was looking at that today was the cheapest one I could find, ebay wants like $500+ and they all come from america, how are they with shipping prices for overseas?? I might call harbour freight tomorrow will be a handy tool to have around if I can get it shipped at a good price.
Just checked USPS and it would cost between $80-$100 to ship. That's for a flat rate box up to 20 pounds of weight. That does not include insurance. I couldn't get the exact dimensions. I have a store about 20 miles away.

couldn't get through to them.
is the price on that harbour freight site US dollars? I just converted it to AUS dollar it will cost me around $300 to get it landed maybe more.
that's a bit too pricey for something ill use once for now.
I might buy a MIG welder I need one eventually for rust repairs, eastwood have that stud weld adapter for the nozzle, I got to try find one in AUS.

Yes - the prices on their site are US Dollars.
Good idea on the MIG adapter.
I've heard of people just welding nails and a vice-grip-slide-hammer instead of studs. Just use a cheap MIG welder and don't blow through the metal.
yea I might go out and buy a MIG today there on sale too wich is even better. I was looking at those multi grip slide hammers that's a pretty smart idea.
I don't want to blow holes through the panel either ill get some scrap metal and just get a feel for the welder and the different settings its got.
