Smile just a quick folow up

Ok well I just put in the order for an adaptor for the gauge, finally everything is getting back to normal. Well maybe I hope lol. I gotta get that stupid oil cooler hooked back up. There's nothing hooked up right now and I'm gonna scortch that engine if I'm not careful ya know.

Ok now I was curious about something, could I wire the stock gauge into the aftermarket sender and it work ok as well? I'm just wondering if it would work. Thanks a lot guys Keep it Real. Don't Drink and drive unless someone holds yor beer. J/K.

OK well, I guess I don't have to worry about parts from that place anymore, Tina, ordered them for me today, took long enough. But thats taken care of.

On a side note the car over heated today, I don't know why, I ripped the thermostat out and drove it home, don't know, itdidn't overheat. But it still ran alittle warm. I might need a new water pump, I hope not, possibly even a radiator.

Any input would help a lot guys thanks.

the resistance in the aftermarket sender is not the same as stock so the guage will not be accurate.. as far as overheating , in this heat how old is your radiator?make sure your alt belt is tight also... its not the waterpump, unless water is pouring out the bottom of it...

There both right, risking your motor due to a leaking radiator is not worth it. At least not worth it for me that is. I would save up or use a paycheck ASAP to get a new radiator and risk paying anything late or something if you really need the car to go to work. Also look for a yunk yard and pull one out that is from an FB and use it temporary until you can afford a new one. Good luck with that!
