Could you go 50 DCOE on a PP 13b or 12a? I always see IDA's and whatnot on them. I am aware the IDA is more of a *****-to-the-wall carb over the DCOE, but could a sidedraft carburetor work on a PP engine? I personally have never seen it done.

Jeezus, why? The IDA series has been proven time after time...

 

Just looking at the manifolds and saw that having a sidedraft would mean smaller manifold. Never seen a side draft peri port neither. Like I said, out of curiosity.
