hehe...I don't even read V8 swap threads when they are posted. It just isn't my cup of tea. There's tons of info on here that can be found with a search on this forum. Copy and paste them into a word document and you'll have a book.

you can swap the 13bt in you just need to get the gslse 13b front cover and oil pan so it will fit the mounts 86+ mount different, so basicaly yea it mounts right in, then you need to wire it up to a custom computer (prefferably), check out the FAQ

I'm a noob to this all as well, infact I don't even have a rotary yet, but I'm prettypositive that GSL=13B MIght evne be worth fixing thatone up. Good pull man.

seems like a good buy to me...you should just rebuild that 12a port and turbo it...and you'll be all set to go...post some pics...

The S3 and S4 oil pans are different, due to the way the engines mount in the 1st and 2nd gen chassis. You need the GSL-SE oil pan, front cover and oil pickup tube. The 1st gen engines are front mount, the 2nd gens are side mount.

the front cover is exactly what it sounds like. Its on the front of the engine, it covers the oil pump and chain. If you can get the t2 engine, go that route, make sure to get the ecu and harness, you will want to have those.
