love the website and its because of all you rx7 owners and all these treads i went and bought one today. I know its old skool but thats what makes it fun. anyways looking for any tips and tricks. i read most of your treads and found alot of info. also where can i find headers and exhaust. now the car i bought has sat for a year but it started right up and i drove it home.i need to smog it ?? i know i know i read the treads so im gonna try to smog it this saturday. so any help you guys can give a newbie that only use to race honda's till an RX7 spanked me would be great thanks for the great forum

for performance and replacement parts, try www.mazdatrix.com or www.racingbeat.com both websites are excellent sources for parts for our cars and offer the BEST exhaust systems (IMO) for our cars. as far as smogging the beast, good luck. you'll need it. make sure you change all fluids, oil, coolant, trans oil, diff oil, plugs, check the resistance on the wires, inspect the cap and rotor, REPLACE the fuel filter, inspect or replace the vaccume lines, air filter, and bushings under the car. in summary, you will want to completely service the car to ensure that it treats you well and that it lasts. make sure you use the SEARCH feature. chances are someone's asked the question you may have and it may get you faster results. make sure you post pics. welcome to the dark side.
