Hey Guys,

I was listening to Howard Stern yesterday,and he had Adam Carolla on the show.During the interview Adam(A certified car guy)was telling Howard about how he meet Jimmy,and while he was doing so he montioned Jimmy had just started on teh radio in Los Angeles,and he was driving a "Piece of **** 82 RX-7". Now I don't agree that any RX-7(especially a 1st gen) is a piece of ****,but I thought it was cool that a guy I like watching on TV owned a car similar to me.Now I suppose it isn't anything special that anyone had an RX-7 let alone a D level celebrity,but it is pretty cool any way.Just thought I would share.

I take it as meaning that it was a badass and sexy 82 RX7 that was in shitty shape. Cause who could call a first gen a piece of ****? Honestly.

 

adam corolla is a big datsun person so maybe it has something to do with rivalry of the automakers, but im pretty sure it was literally just a peice of ****....

 

ha i call mine a piece of ****, that doesnt mean it wont blow the tires off, but thats a pretty general phrase. none the less it was an rx 7 and jimmy kimmel drove it.

 

Reminds me of the time me and the rest of the SHO community found out that Conan O'Brien had a '92 SHO. One of the funniest segments I've ever seen on that show.

my Gf reminds me that my car is a POS everyday i should dump her. my GF that is my car treats me better anyway.

 

Just remind her that "That POS is what lets me pick YOU up for the dates".

Yeh i was $500 shy of getting a nice dime last year. swapped, enike/riken 15s, tastefully modded etc etc.

pretty neat to know that there are those in the celeb community that like 7's. i dont know about the car being a pos. i wonder if someone email'd kimel if he'd send a pic of the car...that would be interesting.
