JDM vs USDM rear brake pad design: why do the us ones suck?
Im suprised no ones brought this up before. I bought Hawk hps pads for all four corners on my car. the front ones are great, the rear inside ones fit fine... but the outer outside ones suck... they were moving around, and i couldnt get them to stay inplace until i just temporaly ghetto rigged them by tieing them down with some SS wire.
I couldnt belive that there were the correct design. I was looking around on auctions.yahoo.co.jp and on anniversary racings web page. these are what they sell:
The ears on the bottom ones keep the pads from moving around.
The ones i got from hawk all look like the ones on the top... its retarted. So, did they send me the wrong thing, or is this just something i have to live with?

You know how the ones here have four prongs. Well, the one I've seen from over seas look like the racing spark plugs that racing beat sell for close to 40.00 bucks. They only cost a 1000 yen in Japan though.
