I'm pretty gosh darn positive my car is runnin too rich, possibly wayyy tooo rich. My plugs get all black very quickly, i get horrible gas mileage, and my exhust smells a lil too much like gas. what could cause this? is it as easy as just truning the air'fuel screw? IF it is, i swear i can't find the danm screw, i have an 85 GSl, so its like hidden

 

does the car idle rough??? sometimes the secondaries get stuck open alittle bit causing it to run rich ... to fix it put a screwdriver down the secondaries and push on the throttle plates if the plugs are black just turning the idle mixture screw wont fix it

 

i've converted to mechanical secondaries, with teh AP trick on the way. my car DOES idle rough on cold startup, but with some gas every now adn then, it won't stall or nuthin

 

check the secondaries, it might be binding up and sticking open a little bit
