Need Input please.
First off Id like to say that I am new to this board. This is the first Rx-7 I have owned. I have a 87 T2 Rx-7, and have been noticing problems with it. In the morning I start my car the idle is steady about 1300 rpm. Then after work I notice it idles at about 800-1000 rpm. I think that once my car is warm the idle goes to hell and drops to 500 rpm and wants to bog down and stall. Especially if i turn off my car and then restart it and drive off. I kinda did a test yesterday to see if the idle would change, i stopped at the bank left the car runnin, no change. Stopped at the store left it runnin no change.
Now if i was to turn off the engine then restarted it the idle would of been screwed up.. I have no idea what would cause this, any help would be appreciated. Also I have noticed that when my idle gets real low sometimes the pulley on my alternator squeels and makes all kinda noise untill I step on the gas and get the rpm up. Does that mean my alternator is crap, or I have a bad bearing. Or is it because of my poor idle. Any input would be appreciated thx..

it could be a bad belt not neccesarily an alt always think small then big....have you done a tune up recently mainly atleast your plugs sometimes your idle has alot to do with the condition of your plugs then you look at other stuff like idle adjust screw afm to see if it is working properly....
