It's Alive!

If you check out my car domain site, here , you'll see that I have been working on my 85 gs for quite some time now. Just about everything that I could possibly think of has been replaced on that car, and 1 year and way tooo much $$$ later, I got it running today! Started right up. Here's a video.
You can't really tell from the video, but that was one of the loudest things I have ever heard. Well, it looks like I have about wrapped up thios project, what next? There just happens to be a box in my garage with a turbo, downpipe, boost controller, guages, and intercooler, so we'll just have to see where it goes

Nice! I checked out the car domain site, but didnt look at teh video because of my 56k . Looks like you did a real nice job . Isn't it a great feeling to be working on a project for so long and finally get to see/hear it in action? I just hope i get to have that feeling soon...

Looks nice. I think you should ditch the beehive and get an air/oil cooler. Oh and dont expect that paint to last on teh header.

yea, the paint smokes and bubbles every time I start the car I have an old volvo oil cooler that I might use, but hose fittings and braided lines are expensive!

Just find a used Mazda one. Look for a FC in teh junkyard and take the cooler and the lines, mounting brackets. You can modify it all to fit.

Looks great, well done!

Do you have any details or pictures of how the wheel wells were fabricated? That would be great to see.

I can take some pictures of the wheel wells some this weekend when I'm back home. I'll get some pictures of the turbo goodies too in a few days, 680rwhp12a, I'm going to drop you a pm sometime, I have a few questions you might be able to answer.
