Internals of Powerpulse muffler VS Powerpulse streetport muffler

Are the internals on both of these mufflers the same? because I bought the power pulse muffler but I needed the streetport one since it has the bigger piping so i was thinking i could get a muffler shop to put a bigger pipe on my power pulse muffler and therefore make it flow more for my bridgeported motor?.....

i am under the impression that the difference is the inlet pipe is larger on the SP muffler.

No they are not dual all the way back. The dual pipes collect over the axle into a single 2.5" pipe into the muffler. I believe the streetport muffler is a more straight thru design vs. the power pulse

yeah, they do collect into one pipe over the axle but the rest of the way is dual pipes all the way to the header. thats how my SP racing beat exhaust is anyways.

personally i didnt like the tone of the RB muffler so i bought a nice magnaflow.

I thought it sounded pretty good, but I heard it on an SE with a sidedraft Mikuni. Kinda sounded like a cummins diesel in the low end LOL. I haven't heard one yet without the presilencers

not the same mufflers.. the direct fit bolt on muffler has a slightly smaller than 2" inlet while the streetport muffler is a true 2-1/2 inlet
