I don't know what it is, but does it irk the hell out of someone when the gear diagram on the top of shifters is like sideways, or off center? I know it doesn't really matter but that is my biggest pet peeve. I don't mind shift ***** without any diagram, in fact I prefer them. Any way, really cool short shifter!

My friend had a 4 speed Ford in his F100 and he put a 5 speed shift pattern on it. Those guys at NTB kept stalling it out in 4th gear trying to reverse it, they ended up having to push it.

A 3 shifter example. Mine is at the top, Trochoid's is in the middle, and stock at the bottom. The throw is very short and fitting for the car, I like it.

The shifter and e-brake boots upclose. I need to change out that e-brake grab handle.

BTW, if you want a short-throw shifter, contact Trochoid. The price was nice and well worth every penny.

Do these just drop in or is there something else to the installation? I always thought changing to a short throw stick was complicated.

They are drop in. Nothing complicated about them other than taking off the needed parts to get to the shifter.

My only suggestion on the interior, is to get yourself some vinyl dye and hit up your hand brake, it looks like **** in that green color.

Well, I'll tell you what. Since you don't like it, come on down and change it for me.

I don't know why people dig up old stuff just to post something stupid.

Well he wasn't posting anything stupid, it was a friendly suggestion. Even you said yourself the handle needs to be changed. Some vinyl dye would be an easy way to match it to the other parts you put on. I have the same interior colour, and yeah my puke green hand brake handle looks like **** too.

I bought an in-expensive e-brake cover. Chrome and carbon fibre look. It sticks on with double sided mounting tape. I know it's ghetto, but it looks pretty good and really updated the look. I bought it at Canadian Tire, so probably most places like AutoZone would carry something similar.
