Intercooler position

Im building a 12a carbed turbo and i was wondering if anyone has used two smaller intercoolers behind two holes in the front bumper on each side instead of one blocking air to the radiator. I want to use this to help keep the car cooler especially with the crazy summer we just had.

Are you talking about the lower valance that the S3 cars had? Those are there for the brakes,
and it would be tough to get the intercooler piping in there, let alone an intercooler.

Much easier to just get an appropriately sized intercooler for the front. Don't get the biggest
you can fit.

Not really talking about the valance. I was going to make two holes in the lower section of the front air dam for the intercoolers.

Just use a normal front mount intercooler. The IC is just cooling compressed air; which is not as hot as coolant. Its not going to F- with the radiator. I wouldn't worry about it. Your A/C will effect the radiator more than the IC ever will.

Build a V-mount setup if your concerned about blocking the radiator. There's plenty of room to do that with a properly sized rad and IC.

Hows this?? i did remove my a/c and made a bracket to mount the aftercooler right there on the other ac brackets. my car never even gets up to temp even when its hot out. but im staying with my stock fan for my own preferences and reasons hope this helps

the carb bonnet is too small and pipe enters an the wrong angle dont copy this i have to redo it. moremazda informed me of some critical design features i overlooked or rather didnt know about
