No, not all 1st gens have the same body panels...What are you looking for specifically?? Well, actually, I'll just tell you what I know...

Fenders: 79-80 & 81-85
Bumper Cover: (79-80??) & 81-85
Header Panel: 79-85
Hood: 79-85
Headlight Covers: 79-85

Ok, well the "bumper cover" I know is the same for 81-85, but it just now occured to me as I was writting this that I dont know about the 79-80 models and their bumpers...Im just assuming that since most parts are broken down into that grouping (79-8 & 81-85) that this part would also be broken down ito the same group, unless the 79-80 didnt have a bumper cover or something like that...

Actually there are bumper covers, but they are steel not plastic. Very tough too (ano no worries about the paint chipping off when some guy in a Celebrity decides to rearend you!)

The Celebrity's bumper fell off... the bumper on the '80 bounced forwards on its springs and snapped back to position... 5 minutes with some rubbing compound and it looked like nothing happened

So, does anyone know if the doors line up?

Sorry to be impatient, but I'm trying to purchase a local one and need to know if it's going to fit or not.

Thanks

Speaking of doors, I just arranged to get my new door to replace the one that some f**ker messed up breaking into my -SE!! Im getting an all new door with glass and power regulator for $75 . No more cold draft coming though the door on the drive to work!! I dont understand why someone would take the time to pop the lock out, cut open the door, reach in and un lock the door, and then steal s**t anyway . Why not just slim jim it? Why not just break the window? Oh well, who cares, I still get my door .

~T.J.

PS - If it was any of you that broke into my car, I hope your car carbon locks to the point of no return, and your transmission falls out of your car onto your innocent dog !!! If not, disregard this remark .
