intake gasket quick question

ok got my gasket from racing beat, doesnt line up 100% should i trim it to fit the intake ports properly ? and when i took it off there were 2 rubber o-rings rotten twisted and couldnt tell what they were if you didnt know they where suppost to be there. anyway looking at the gasket still doesnt look like theres room for o-rings to fit anywhere now do i trim the gasket so they do fit ? and what size o-rings should i be using ?

thanks
-Rob

Those O-rings go into the coolant passages on the motor that circulates through the intake manifold..

what exactly do you mean about not lining up? the engine ports are bigger than the ports on the intake manifold, so as long as it matches the intake manifold ports then you're ok.

I could be wrong though so don't stone me if i ain't fully correct.

well the holes for the coolant passage leaves no room for an oring to fit im just wondering if i should trim it to fit one, and what size ones should i use ? or just ones that look right ? cuz i dont think having the the o-ring ontop of the gasket works... i would think it would be best mated bettwen the 2 metals

the O rings go in the reccessed hole in the rotor housing, then the gasket goes on next. i've never ahd to trim the gasket in that area, but since the O ring and not the gasket seals the coolant passage, i can't see trimming it to cause any problem.
