Installing Koni'-- please help

My Koni's just arived today and i was wondering how you guys have installed the threaded collars into the strut without that special tool? I have done this before by using 'chain grips' but unfortunatly i dont have axess to them were i live now.

Is there a simple way to get the required 75lbs. torque with out any special (ie expensive) tool?

Regards, Alex Zeller

A big *** pipe wrench, or use a 'cheater' bar.
