clutch ?

I bought this 85 gsl that needs an engine and some of the parts are missing. i believe.

My question is on the clutch. My FD had a collar ring that attached the throwout bearing to the clutch cover's fingers.

This car im fixing has nothing to attach the throwout bearing to the fingers.

How exactly does this work?

thanks

they throwout bearing attaches to the fork (just find the slave cylinder and you'll see what i'm talking about) with the engine out of the car you can't miss it ... it's the only thing hanging down in the bell housing ...

the T/O bearing slide onto it.

yeah,

I guess this is a push type clutch. the t/o bearing doesn't attach itself to the pressure plate, it just pushes itself to the plate for service.

Not real familiar with the older 7's.
