Im Loosing My "Faith"...Again
Bringing up an old thread I guess;
My story...
I was 17 and screwed around in High School for about three years so I was technically still in the 9th grade so I decided to drop out and get my GED.
Instead of going for the GED first, I needed money for it so I got a job at Taco Bell, in the job application process a manager at the local car wash asked me a job (an extra .50c an hour right...why not) shortly after I started working I learnt that he was a total dick and the place was run like a sweat shop so I was only 17, couldn’t get a 'real job', I never got the time to get my GED so I’m still GEDless.
I just turned 18, put in an application at Best Buy in the Geek Squad, bam, hired on the spot the next day and so I quit the old job, not even turning my head. The next day I'm walking to go get a new floor jack for my dad for fathers day (yeah, ours was pretty beat up and hardly worked...not safe at all), on the way I got a call asking if I was interested in web design contract work on the side (he must have seen my website or something) so I'm waiting to see how that turns out.
No matter how shitty the job, keep working at it and putting in applications else where and you'll end up succeeding in the long run...work hard now, it'll get easier.

Dammit, Tech, I'm the only one allowed to revive extremely old threads with little motivation!
You need me to issue you a "Threado Revivo" licsence (GODDAMMIT, how do you spell that?) before you can do this again.
Consider this your warning, bud

TJ....sounds like you're having a rough time dude. Maybe I can help you out. I have a radiator from an 83 GSL and the complete exhaust from the 85 SE you sold me. I might even have a transmission mount too. If you want to stop by I'll hook you up.

Bump from the dead...Again.
Wow, I never even knew this got brought back the first time, lol. Anyway, I dont even know what I said in the first post cause I didnt read it, but Im sure my life isnt much better at this point either unfortunatly. Anyway, Im getting by (barely, lol) but Ive got a truck that I like to think is reliable after rebuilding the engine, but we all know how that goes... Rebuild the engine and every ******* other thing breaks. For instance, my driveline threw a U Joint the other day, and its a two piece shaft so it practically killed the center support bearing, the front main is leaking because the pully has a groove worn in it (Im guessing this is why anyway, its brand ******* new), the brake master is leaking fluid so it makes it really fun to stop with my size tires, and now I broke a motor mount today. Went over a bump, then heard a thud and watched my shifter move about 2 inches to the left.
B-e-a-utiful.

EDIT: Holy crap! This is the thread that made me seriously consider the Army! Well hey, been there, done that, lol. Joined on 2/25/04, been in as Military Police (heh, I became a cop, lol Now I just gotta get the civilians to let me be one) and loving it ever since, but doing the reserve thing doesnt get the money coming in right now...
