Ignition problems?

Just had car running perfectly yesterday. Pulled hard threw every gear and idled perfectly.
Today still idles but ha a slight stumble. Floor it and it just feels weak. I popped the hood and can pull the leading coil wire out and doesn't miss a beat. I would assume it should run worse? I tried a few different coils and no difference. New wires and plugs also. I've read about the igniters? Maybe that's the problem? They are getting spark but must be weak under a load?
Any help would be great. It's not even fun to drive with this lack of power.

Lol :P Sounds like the trailing side of the dist. is firing the leading coil. I also made this mistake...

Make sure the front ignitor is going to your MSD, and the one facing the alt to your stock coil set up. If that looks correct, swap the signal wires on the coils. It should die if you pull the leading off, but it will run (rich) with the trailing pulled. You will lose your tach if the trailing is unhooked aswell iirc.

having the 2 backwards makes it run the leading about 10* retarded, and just overall makes it run sorta sluggishly.

Everyone has done that, its easy to do especially on a custom ignition setup. Luckily NA rotaries
don't get harmed by this and it just runs bad.
