HUMVEE! I may not be able to race you, but I can park on top of a ricer and barely even feel the bump.

An old impreza RS, or a new LanEVO (financed), but most likely the 84 vette that I used to have(first car I bought), but sold it to my mom for a paint job on the 7.

I would have to say one of the early Z cars 72'-78' the motor isnt as much fun and they rust like there is no tomorrow but the styling is classic.

Or maybe a Delorean DMC-12 you can pick up a DD for 10k now a days......

Well I would be driving what I drive every 3rd day and that is one of my 2 StarQuests and my 75 MG Midget. I drive my 84 RX7 on Mondays, 88 Quest on Tues, 89 Staruion on Wed, and save the 85 RX7 and the Midget for Weekends.

Nice, I have to agree.

Maybe a GN to go with the Dodge I would have.

I have about 2k saved right now to get a Charger or Challenger.

something that handled nice, had respectable acceleration, interior room for a surfboard, and I could see the sparkplugs, and didn't have to crawl under it to change the oil and filter, and something that had parts availability because it was common.

And wasn't a GM (dad had a firebird), a Ford (mom had a maverick), VW (I've owned a VW and a 914), BMW (bring my wallet or break my window), mercedes (too stuffy).........why not a peugnot for a joke??

well if you want to talk for real:
my 92 SHO.

another realistic project to replace the 7?
87 shelby glhs or a triumph tr6 with a buick/rover 3.5L v8, most likely with pieces off a buick 300 to make a 5.0L.
i'd also like to do a lowrider karmann ghia convertable, with a 2330cc stroker, and laughing gas.

quasi dream, but affordable?
79 ferrari 308 GTS
de tomaso pantera (from the 70's)

dream cars?
-71 hemi cuda
-lambo miura
-some sort of kit car: esp. twin turbo ls1 dragon, gt40 replica, or 63 corvette grandsport replica.

It's funny how these threads always say "if Rx-7's never existed" and forget all the great rotarys that existed before it.
