If I hear about another carb...
Nothing now....... I acutally got through building an 82 carb and a few parts broke... wtf? Then I had no choice but you get the one that was on my car and use all the parts I was missing. So really I had all the parts cleaned and ready to go for the carb that came with my car.. but it took so long and so much work.. Atleast I have it cleaned GOOD and it WILL work.. or i'm gonna... No iDEad..
Ok you know that little brass stub kinda thing and bearing between the primary veturi's and under that weird thing with a screw in the top. They fell the **** out.... That was the first time I rebuilt the carb with little results. THen when I rebuilding this 82 carb the primary venturis broke?? wtf? I got the secondaries out easy as hell, and I got all of them out on my 79 carb with 1 fingure... So yea.. thats what happened, and the usually mix up of parts. All that done and said, I have my original 79 carb fully rebuilt, cleaned and poished, with everything thats suposed to be there. You should show me how to mod it, cause now I know if front and back.. insides and out..
You lost the check weight and checkball under the ap pump nozzle? Very easy to do if you dont know its there. You broke the venturis? The boosters? or the actual venturis? And why did you remove them? For cleaning?

I think you're refering to the booster venturis.
They should not be removed unless you're going through the trouble of all-out modding the carb.
