Idles high
If you are all stock, it could be a vacuum leak or more likely the shutter valve. Pop the air filter cover and put your finger over the shutter valve hole while idling. If the idle goes back to normal until you give it gas again that might be the culprit. Also if you have working AC, try cycling it on and off again to see if the idle will correct itself until you give it gas again.
The idle screw is capped so you will have to remove the carb to cut the cap off with a hacksaw blade. While the carb is off you should give it a decent cleaning and replace any rubber hoses. Chances are you probably won’t need to adjust the idle once the carb is clean.
