I'm not sure why an idle is "LOL"?

First, you need to determine why it's high. What RPM does the car idle at?

If it's exactly 1500, then the cold start cam is stuck.

If it's sort of variable, it is probably a vacuum leak.

This is assuming that no one has messed with it in the past. If people were in there tweaking things, you're going to have to start from the beginning...

If you want to lower your idle, theres a screw on top of the motor that can control how high and low your car idles. But dont lower it too much or your car will die out until it is warm.

NO, NO, NO!

First of all, if the car is idling high, there is a problem somewhere and messing with the idle screw is just going to cause more headaches.

Second, you can't just turn the screw. You need to set the initial set coupler to tell the ECU you are going to make an adjustment. Otherwise you are fighting the BAC valve.

high idle

Check the secondary throttle adj. screw... if it has loosened. It's on the top side of the TB above the TPS. It is factory set but if it loosens the idle can go up.
With the engine warm, see if you can lower the idle by closing the throttle by hand.... see if the throttle cable is too taunt at idle, try adjusting it or slightly bend the cable bracket on the plenum toward the passenger side to take tension off it!
Good Luck,
B
