I swear, everytime I talk about my 7 something needs to be replaced. I just had my rear wheel bearings replaced and a complete tune up, etc. etc. Its never run better. So I start bragging about my 7 with my girlfriend, about how "smooth" it drives and how she was going to love it. I turn the key and blamo!! Nothing. No juice. The radio turned on but that wasnt the effect I was looking for.

So there I was from 10pm to 1am, in the rain, on the street, in downtown portland looking for a short or a bad ground, cleaning the battery cables, checking the fusible link, blah blah blah with no luck.

I jump started my car this morning and got it to my mechanic. he tells me the alternator has died and could not believe that the alternator was the original, but it was. I trusted his opinion as always and replaced the alternator. Runs freakin beautiful. Now I better not think too loudly in fear that it might hear me.....but it's now running better than ever.

The reason that it did that was jealousy. Never talk to your girlfriend/wife in front of your RX. They are notoriously jealous.

yeah, i skipped school to go back to my house with my girlfriend and when i went outside to start it up and go back to school, it wouldn't go...it was nuts...so i looked like an idiot. but at least i didn't have to go back to school! and then i got laid, so it worked out for the best.
