Sometimes the synchros will bind up and start making noises. You might be on the verge of looking for a new tranny, but before you freak out you might want to try this trick;

Replace the current fluid in your tranny with a 50/50 mix of gear lube and auto tranny fluid. The high detergent content in the ATF will help to clean out the synchros, and will still provide proper lubrication for the tranny. Datsun racers have done this for years, and I've always used this combination with great results. Might be worth a shot...

You have a peg leg diff, what are you expecting. If you can't spin one wheel, might be time for a new clutch.

no its not that.... its hard to explain... like sayi raise up to 6 grand and drop the clutch, the tach stays at 6 but i take off slower than what i should.. and sometimes when i shift to 4th and put the gas allt he way down the rpm stays at a higher rpm, but when i ease off the gas it drops ( kinda like wen u shift)... it realy realy confuses me.. it doesnt happen all the time, but it kinda worries me.

Like I said, it might be time to start looking for a new clutch. Notice any acrid odors when this happens?

ya your clutch is slipping. Your engine is accelerating faster than you clutch can keep up, hence the high RPM and no acceleration. Drop the engine speed and your clutch grabs "but when i ease off the gas it drops." I don't think i've ever smelled any odor equivalent to burnt clutch, it's quite distinctive. maybe brakes.....
