I need some Oil Advice
I now own a 1984 Gsl and it was known that it was leaking oil when i bought it . Fortunatly i have found that the leak is a lot less serious then i thought it was going to be. It appears to me that there is a drip coming from the bottem of the oil cooler and my question is " is this most likely the o-rings at the bottem of the bee hive cooler setup?" Also there are a few leaks coming from the drivers side rear of the oil pan so ive talked to a few people and i believe that this is simply the Oil pan Gasket. Is this a hard job to replace it?
it is the o-rings, no doubt. the pan gasket is realitivly easy to replace. you will need to unbolt the engine from the mounts and raise it up to clear the drag link. after that it is pretty much a no brainer.
