Door reinforcement

A while back in that "design flaws " it's mentioned that the door frame around the window is a weak point and that welding in bracing would fix it. Anyone done this? any pics? any additional info would be good as I have my project in pieces and now would be a good time to do something about this. TIA

I haven't had any problems with my door frames. Now the hinges on the other hand. My driver's side hinges are wearing out as the door has some play in it now and the spring that keeps tension on the bottom hinge will no longer stay in place so during gusty days I gotta watch how the door opens otherwise I'm dinging someone or the door is gonna leave a mark on my leg.

To be honest I haven't had any trouble with mine either. Just seemed like if there was a potential problem now would be the time to alleviate it. I'll be interested to see what everyone else thinks about this.
