I need Help!

So I’ve been going back and forth with my ‘79 I have changed the carburetor on it and it runs but it’s just having issues sounding like this. There’s some other stuff that needs to be done that are small but this is my biggest concern. I turned the fast idle screw on my carb down. This is what I was recommended to do by racing beat. I bought a vacuum gauge and it’s currently sitting between 8-15hg and idk what the recommended vacuum rating should be. Any advice would be appreciated

I can't view the video. Can you explain what its doing? Has the car been sitting for an extended period of time?

Its holley carb, I assume from RacingBeat. Your vacuum should be around 18hg or higher for any engine. Same for a rotary. Sounds rich to me which not unusual with a holley. Holley never run well with rotaries, they are oriented 90 deg which creates all kinds of issues cornering, plus they don't feed the secondary/primary quite right.

yes it’s from racing beat. I’ve seen others who run them with a Holley and they sound really good. But I just want some guidance on how I can solve the problem. The most racing beat told me is to back the fast idle screw out and try and tune it. They said I could also have a potential vacuum leak but I’m not sure if that’s the case because my gauge is fairly steady.
