Arrow I Need Advice Asap!

I found a guy who is selling me: cost is $300 for a holley 600, jetkit, and RacingBeat 12a Holley 4bbl manifold and for an extra $25 he is going to throw in a rebuilt "Holley Red" fuel pump. He said i would probably want to rebuild the carb and give it a good cleaning, i would have to buy the Breather kit and filter, OMP actuator Rod, and the accelerator cable mount. I'm a newbie wanting to fix up my 7 and wanted a second opinion on this deal.....i need to know by tonight if possible... Sorry it's another carb question.

Sounds like a good deal, but a 600 is damn big for a stockport 12a.

It's too big for a stockport 12A. You won't have enough signal suction.

Air velocity through the barrels would not be high enough to properly atomize the air/fuel resulting in poor low rpm response, if it idled at all.

Buy it. You can always change to mechanical secondaries if you don't have enough vacuum.

for the same price, you can get a nicely modified Sterling Carb or Bannana Carb from Rx7Carl or Sterling.

I highly recommend these guys and in the next couple of weeks, I should be able to tell you just how much I love mine.

The reason I highly recommend the modded Nikki is because the Nikki was designed for this car and making it work better IMO is the best option!
