engine problem, not mine
well i was talking to BigJim these past days and he have a problem. he told me that his car start but sound like only have one rotor so i told him to do a compression check by removing one spark plug and hear it doing the 3 chi sound, so he did and he heard 2 good one and a pause on the rear rotor. so i told him it could be a stuck apex so put mmo thru the plugs holes and leave it overnight. so he did and today when to check and did 3 chi in one turn but in the second turn he did it only did two and the third one only did one good one and weak one and a pause. what could it be,does somebody know if the engine need rebuild or just keep putting MMO? thanks

Probably a side seal stuck. Never done the powerfoam, just MMO and steam clean. A search should result in something. I think I read hear to follow directions on can for the powerfoam.

I think im gonna have to rebuild the engine. I did the mmo trick again today, let it sit for about 8 hours and rolled it over. I got 1 chi noise. Then i got a real weak chi noise and a strong chi and now i get a single chi or a really long chi.

Last i knew the car would start. I dunno if it still will, but i imagine it would. I didnt wanna start it becasue it might be a broken apex and i dont want it scratchin ****

you might try the water trick if the mmo dosen' work, who knows you mights just be loosining it with the mmo but if yu run warer through it might just wash it all out, i personally am scared shitless of pouring water in my engine.....

The thing with the MMO is to get it so the right apex is laying in it. If you have an apex broke and youve tried to start it then you've already scratched the rotor housings. A rotor housing in the scheme of a rebuild isnt such a big deal. Try the water, I dont think there is much to lose at this point.
