* sobbing uncontrollably*

everything has been stripped from it. All I saw was the tender blue metallic body, ON JACKSTANDS.

My wheels are gone... everything is gone, from what I can tell.

OH ****. You got robbed. They dont have a title to the car, they cant touch it. Plain and simple. Call the cops right now and tell them the whole damn thing, or go down there with some buddys and some bats and show THEM some good old boy law. *******.

Yeah, they are responsible for your vehicle while they have it in their posession. Call the cops and let them know whats going on and start from the beginning.

Seems to me that this ended because you did not take any action. You have no one to blame but yourself. After the first day i would have had it out, then sued there ***. You never called the cops to see what you could do or anything, you just cried to us. But they still should have kept the car safe from harm. You have a law suit against them because of theft of property. Did they call the cops when they noticed the stuff was stolen? The gate is locked! 100% they took the rims because they knew you were a push over and would do nothing about it.

Exactly. If the gate is locked and secure, THEY should report the theft, NOT you. From what I was told, if they have posession of your property, with or without consent, they are liable for any damages to it. You didnt sign any kind of waiver releasing them from liability, therefor they can be held accountable for what happens to it. However, I will tell you right now, cops arent actually going to do much. They may start an "investigation" but nothing will come of it because the cops are going to look for ONE person to hold accountable which I almost promise they wont find. They cant just arrest an employee or whatever and place blame, they need to know WHO it was so they can point the finger. What you need to try and do is get the cops to come, get it on record, start the investigation, then contact a lawyer and sue the company as a whole or the owner for the loss and damages, as well as anything else the lawyer can come up with. Find one that doesnt get paid unless you get paid type thing, or one that works off a percentage of the case so that when you win, you can pay him. It almost sounds like Ive been through this before...Weird.

Seriously, you cant just sit around idley and expect someone else to get it back for you... I speak from experience with the investigation side of it too. The cops really wont do much, its going to be up to you to do it.

EDIT: Damn spelling. Ever realize you've been spelling words wrong for a really long time? Seriously, in the past couple days Ive been noticing words that Ive been spelling wrong for a REALLY long time, its annoying!

This thread is a waste of bandwidth. He is not doing anything except sitting and watching the slow death of a 7.

I can only think that you are frozen in terror.

Damn..... if you really care you will call someone. There are lawyers out there that will take this just because you can get a law suit involved.

This is very tiring for anyone who actually wanted to help. There is obviously no use since he won't do anything himself.

In fairness maybe he was looking for storage in anticipation of getting it back. If so it is the only thing he seems to do other than cry about it and subject himself to taunts of the towing company (who were only acting as agents of his landlord.)

But no more sympathy!! sorry, haha. The guy must have mental problems because it is now over two weeks and all he does is crying and looking for sympathy instead of actually doing anything. Some people like to be victims and have bullies steal their lunch money every day, or maybe he is depressed. Either way he need to address the bigger problem or he will live an unhappy life as everyone's doormat. There is plenty of advice and even free legal services to be found. He just need to get off his butt. Also since this is the first of the month, he could withhold rent (if so advised) since it was his landlord who took the car.

Anyone else would have gotten car back long ago or at least filed suit or "warrant in detinue" for its return. Some may have landed in jail for trespassing stealing it back but at least they do something to stand up for themselves.

Why is this thread not in the lounge or closed?

Is that an electric fan ? I don't see a cord. Or is it battery ? Oh, methane fumes !!! Cool !!!Will ALL the **** go through it ? Should you toss the turds through the center or toward the edges ? In a group at once or one at a time ? Is it noisy going through there ? How could we make it quieter ? Is that loss of load considered a parasitic loss to your butt ? Man, so much to consider.
