I am lost

I am a first time owner of a 85 rx-7 am having problems with the clutch. I am not sure if it is the master cylinder or the slave cylinder. Have all the tools to work on it just seeing if there is any one out there that can give some help or advice. Thank you

What are the symptoms? Its easier to converse on here, plus its beneficial to those who are having the same problems. You may want to do a search because its probably been covered before.

What year and trim is the car? Are you loosing fluid? Pressure? Some other type of issue?

Just post your questions and answers right on here, then we'll do the same. Much easier that way, and we won't be repeating each other when we give advice.

Welcome to the forum. We'll help you figure out this whole forum thing.

If you do have to replace the slave or master cylinder, do yourself a favor and replace them both. When one goes, the other tends to get destroyed and go shortly thereafter.

i have noticed a skeaking sound in my car, just heard it cuz my radio went out a couple of days ago, so i popped the hood to try and locate it, best i can figure out is that it is coming from where the engine mounts to the tranny. gonna get the tranny fluid flushed and replaced this week to see if that helps and am also searching on here for a how to: flush clutch fluid, it is getting kinda dark.
is there anything else i should look at?
