How to test ignition modules? And removing oil filler tube
So, I have a stock 12a. I was told that my ignition modules may be bad. Does anyone know how to test them so I know if they are bad or not?
Second question is how do i take off the oil filler tube? Mine has a bit of rust I would like to clean out.

Can't offer info on modules, but as to removal of the oil tube, these are usually just press-fitted in or a bit of glue. I used a soft mallet and tapped the top sides back and forth to loosen it then a bit of a twist to loosen the final hold, and wiggled it out…

You can tap it back and forth while a small crow bar or thick screwdriver is held under the vent tube and pry against the top of the intermediate plate. I lay a 1/4" plate of aluminum there to protect the iron. Go slow and it can be walked out without doing very much damage.
I never made my own ignitor tester. I just grab a handful of aligator clips, a spare dizzy, a coil, a spark plug and wire with a way to hold the plug so it can be grounded, oh and a car battery. Then turn the dizzy shaft.
If it sparks the coil, it's a good ignitor.
Is that like the hard way to do things like this? I never know. The light bulb method seems harder to me for some reason. Probably why I've never done it.
I have hooked a test light on the (-) side of a coil and cranked it before. It makes the test light blink. Is that like the easy way or something?
