How much is it worth?

It's a 1985 GSL-SE, the engine is blown, I think the paint is slightly faded, and i dont know what it looks like on the inside. The parts that are on it are as follows:

Its got konis, racing beat springs, sway bars, header and exhaust, pulleys, electric fan conversion etc.

It blew an apex seal so i'm gonna' need another housing/rotor. Plus a rebuild is like $600 at least for me to do it myself.

The guy is asking $1500 for it.

Give him no more than a grand IMO. Sway bars and exhaust work is great, if the car can actually use it. In this case, not. Remind him that a quality rebuild by a rotary shop can cost upwards of 2-3k$. Just don't let them know you are doing it.

^^ what that guy said ^^ i would hope that the guy selling the car knows about them enough to have put those parts on, thats why he is selling. make sure there is no rust for 1000 though. you can buy non runners with very little rust for 500 all day long if you want. dont let the guy try to pull your leg with all the add ons. once it is installed it isnt new!

Appears as though the car has been sitting with a blown engine for about 2 years as well.

sitting for 2 year = don't give a damn about the car, low ball him & see if he will take 3-500, emphasize the fact that quanity rebuild 2-3k.

Try to find the owner of the car, if it is sitting at a shop, otherwise the shop owner will be looking to make some money as a broker/middleman.
