well stock they did 100 do they really drop off that bad as they get older..? oh well im not quite sure what to do right now. I wouldnt think it would be that low if i could stay ahead of my friends porsche which has atleast 135hp. plus the engine breathes alot easier now...

I was driving in upstate Ny and there was about 500 Horses running in a field next to me....I was able to keep up with them so i assume that my bone stock 84 has more than 500 horsepower???????

Ha

The stock 105 was more than likely measured at the flywheel.

My old 4 port 13B bone stock with rx4 carb made 124 RWHP with 120 ft.lbs of torque. Has over 120K on it. Pretty good for motor over 30 years old (Considered an Antique).

RB says something like 180hp with my setup... but ya. i highly doubt it. more likely around 140-155 with the 13b / holley / straight through exhaust.

Well this makes me think then. Why can I run a 9.2 in the 8th mile. I think my motor is ported. Not really sure loast owner dona alot of stuff to it. But I can run with my friends B16 CRX and it putdown about 140 at the wheels and about 170 at the flywheel. This made me think it had around 160 at the flywheel. MAinly because my car is heavier and i have a crappy clutch. Hmm not knowing about my own car bothers me. Someone should buy it.

RB claims 180HP AT THE FLYWHEEL. Depending on what year your 13B is, it probably isn't too far off that. 180hp at the flywheel on an FB equals about 140-150hp at the wheels.

They were rated 105 at the flywheel stock, which means it was probably only putting down 90-ish when new. With you catback you MAY still be putting that down.

FWIW, based on my experience with SpecRX7's (all stock, all emissions but cat, shortie straight pipe exhaust and no fan) the most powerful cars on the most generous dynos will do something like 110 whp.

probably 146. since thats what my car came out with. i dont know if there is a loss of power due to age, milage, and the fact that someone didnt take good care of it before i got it.
