How much horse power do u have?

I know many of you guys have heavy mods on your cars and just wanted to know how much power are you making, this is just estimating but if u went to a dyno tell me your results.

I think i have around 120hp. I have rats nest removed, e-fan installed, cat back exhaust. i was able to stay side by side with a 2965lb porsche 944 n/a it has 147hp(stock) but he says someone before him had new headers put on it ( maybe he has more then 147), so maybe i have more than 120hp?

I dynoed at 120 RWHP with my 12A powered 83 with a Yaw Power carb(not tuned at the time),electric fan, full racing beat streetport exhaust, and no emissions equipment.I think if I tuned the carb I could have had more.Since then I have installed a light-weight steel flywheel.I dynoed the car a few years ago,but I don't drive the car anymore though, and I bet it is pretty low on power now.

i have the full rb exhaust so im thinkin 120- 125 at the flywheel. Maybe it's a little optomistic, but thats what racing beat says. Hope to streetport and get a sterling in the future.

Very cool, inspiring project man... I can't wait until in a couple of years I can afford to make my car 450RWHP. The day will come, and the best part is im going to be a journeymen Mechanic so I can easily do all the work myself, damn I love cars lol.

I have not dynoed my car or anything but I would like to think that with it tuned I will be making about 160hp. My modifications are in my signature.

my repu dyno'd 144 hp and 125tq to the ground.
13b 4 port mild streetport
39mm chokes in dellorto
msd6al
headers but 1.75ID glasspacks under the cab. after that a nice collector and 2.5" straight thru magnaflow muffler.

remember repu has long 2 piece driveshaft, 8" diff and bigger axels so more drivetrain loss.

My old 12A and 13B Yaw carbed engines made about 150 and 170 crank HP,respectably.Pretty responsive and fun,but hardly smoggable and they sucked the gas down.
Right now,Im somewhere near 300 crank HP,Ive never dynoed it.Still smogable though, even with the new testing proceedure. Its just enough power to be lots of fun,but not out of control, crazy.
Heres a grainy old picture of the fresh new, ported S5 motor and TO4B before it went in the car, back in 02.....

My motor makes exactly 0 whp right now due to a damn coolant seal.

However, when it did run, it was built to specifications of 215 flywheel hp. I never dyno'd it, though.

It was quick when it ran, though....

That's what Nick at RR&R said. They claim 275-300 flywheel horsepower from their Bridgeport set up....

They have expensive freaking motors, though.

Like I said, though, I never had it dyno'd, but I can surely say that it felt like it made great power.

Here is a link to RR&R's "turn key" motors. http://rotaryracing.com/ff_Turn_key.htm

Street port: approx. 250 flywheel horsepower $4500
Bridge port: approx. 275-300 flywheel horsepower $6500
Peripheral port: approx. 350 flywheel horsepower $8500

you guys really need to get on a dyno... if you have a stock 12a with bolt ons you'll probably be dissapointed with the real results. as i say all the time... weight is what makes these cars fast. unless you are going turbo, gut the ******

uh, I made 128 hp at the wheels with stock ignition, untuned holley 465 running 9:1 fuel ratio above 5000, streetport, and custom header to magnaflows. No accessories except alternator. Might make more now, still haven't tuned with a wideband, I just keep lowering weight. There has to be more power though with my horribly rich upper rpms. I was happy with 150 at the crank.

Erics85, Not to hurt your feelings, but I bet your car is realistically probably not even putting down but about 90 HP. stock port 12A with just a catback.

With 12AT Jspec and stock turbo putting out 217rwhp @12psi, about 260hp at the flywheel.
