How the hell do I get the rear discs off?

Ok, I removed the calipers and want to take the discs off... My Haynes manual simply says "The rear brake disc is attached to the axle hub with screws, which must be removed to allow the disc to be pulled off."

I removed every damn screw I've seen, and they aren't coming off. Do I just need to yank the **** out of them?

yea mine were rusted on there pretty bad, a big hammer and no reguard for the well being of the rotors (they were rusted to hell anyway) got them off in no time. When putting it all back together put a bunch of anti-sieze compound on the axle so they are easier to remove next time you do a brake job.

I had the same problem reciently. There is a threaded hole in the disc. You put a regular bolt that fits the thread size in that hole and tighten. It will pop the disc off with no damage to the part.
Hitting it is much more fun though.
