How The Hell!!!???

Do you take off the oil filler tube on a 12a?

Is it just take off the rubber hose and than pull the tube out ? Do you have to keep that little clip on the tube for re-installation?

Also, I'm going to be painting that plastic surround that's in the middle of the dash a more shiny colour.
I'll tell y'all how that pans out.

The oil filler tube comes off by moving it back and forth and upward its a bitch, but it does comes off, when you go to put it back on drive it on with a rubber mallet. The other thing is just a clamp no big deal.

Thanks man.

I had no idea it was THAT easy!
I'll just clip off the clamp go buy a new one at the hardware store!!

Now I'll be flexin' with a plated oil-filler tube and a rotor-cap!

Naw, I just want to see a chromed out oil filler cap..

By the way, I sent my spare center console over to get Carboned Fibered over. It's Going to Look AWESOME with the mods I intend to do to the interior console.

The professional guy who is doing it for me will do it with a mold so I can sell it later on the forum.

I also found an awesome MP3/CD Player that lets you select 7 different lighting colors. It will be perfect, and If I change the gauge colors later (Dave, you know who you are. all I have to do is click a button.

I would post a picture! Without a doubt i would...but i dont have a scanner. Or a digital camera. And my computer is probably not even fast enough to cope with a "picture program".

I have 200mb left. I have to use it wizely.

Carbon Fiber dash thingy....Put me down for one of those! Will it include the ashtray as well? I have an automatic, and i need that thing around the shifter...
Maybe if someone lived around where I live and had some kind of digital photography at their disposal, they could take pickies!

And my sound system? Rockford Fosgate. The new silver one. I got it a year ago, still going good. Still need subs however. Plan on a couple of those chrome plated amps and 1000watt 10 inch subs

Oh wait, I've been yankin' on this dumb thing for an hour, I have a Vise Grip on the top of it, crushed the **** out of it in every different direction, pulling and twisting the crap out of this freekin' tube and it wont even budge! This is retarded.

Anyone have ANY suggestions on a better tool to use?

I hear a rubber mallet works. And maybe you should pick up a new hd if you have no space, 100 gig drives are under $150 now.

Yeah, I could. But what would I be able to buy for my 7?! NOTHING!

Oh yeah, and I got the stupid filler off, now only to put the new one on. I've been smacking it in and it doesn't want to comply!

But right now, just for now, the new thing is just sitting in the hole. It looks really good with that cap on it!!!
