The best time I ever saw from a magazine was 13.8 in the 1/4 and I think most were 14.0 so command drivers can probably get 14.2 to 14.4 repeatedly. I'd have to disagree and say the current trend is that most FDs are getting fixed and fixed right. A BPU 3rd gen should be way faster than high 13s unless the driver is a moron. Now I understand maybe pulling off an occasional good/bad run but the norm should be low 13s high 12s.

Insanity is probably my best plea. I'm ready for him if I see him again. Played with the jetting and timing and found a whole bunch of missing power. If I was in the 14's before, I should be in the 13's now. Gotta be careful of wheelspin 'til I'm about halfway through 3rd. Can't wait to get the EFI on and working. Haltech F9A on a Ford in an RX-7! What a combination!
